Our Board
The Board of Directors of the Ithaca Health Alliance, Inc. is elected from the
membership of the organization by the membership. Elections are held annually. The Board of IHA
is a working board — all contribute intensively of volunteer time for the projects of IHA. Board
responsibilities include: setting membership fees, Ithaca Health Fund grant categories and terms,
establishing provider credentials, and reviewing member grant requests. The Board provides policy and
direction for Health Alliance projects.
Directors are elected for two-year terms. The year of term expiration for each
board member is shown in parentheses.

In addition to the Board of Directors, a number of non-board officers
contribute to the essential functions of the organization. At present, these are:

- 7Song, Clinical Herbalist, Director of Holistic Medicine
Under the direction of the IHA Board are four committees that contribute to
the planning and coordination of everything that the organization does. These committees are
made up of volunteers dedicated to the various aspects of the organization's mission.
